The Davis Cup Finals, also known as the "World Cup of Tennis," is an annual international team tennis competition between 16 countries. It is the top team event in tennis and is often called the "World Cup of Tennis."
Under the previous version, only two nations competed in the Final, and matches were played at various times throughout the year. This format was replaced by the Davis Cup Finals in 2019.
The Davis Cup qualifying round draw for 2023 was announced by the event's organizers in early December 2022.
On the 3rd,4th, and 5th of February 2023, a total of 36 matches will be played, including 12 qualifying matches, 12 World Cup Group I Play-off matches, and 12 World Cup Group II Play-off matches.
For the 2023 competition, Canada and Australia automatically qualified for the Davis Cup Finals based on their previous performance, while Italy and Spain won wild cards as co-hosts of the 2023 championships alongside the United Kingdom and Croatia.
The 2023 Davis Cup Group Stage will be held in Bologna (Italy), Manchester (UK), Valencia (Spain), and Split (Croatia) from 12-17 September 2023.
The Group Stage will be made up of four groups of four teams playing in a round-robin format. The top two teams will play in the Knockout stage in November 2023.
The Davis Cup Finals knockout round will take place in Malaga from November 21–26, 2023. LiveAtp.net offers live tennis broadcasts of the Davis Cup Finals from all over the world.
