The Mutua Madrid Open is a significant men’s and women’s tennis event. The Madrid Open is a part of the ATP Masters 1000 series on the men’s tour, while the WTA Tour is a Premier Mandatory event of the women’s Tour. Both men’s and women’s event grabs a total of 1000 ranking points.
It is usually held in May and is a main match for the French Open. It is also an important event because it has brought Madrid more than 200 million euros in revenue. In 2019 the tournament prize money was €7,279,270.
The 2024 edition of the Madrid Open will start from 23 April to 5 May 2024. It will be played on a clay surface in Madrid, Spain.

Who won the 2022 ATP & WTA Mutua Madrid Open?
In the 2022 Madrid Open final, Carlos Alcaraz defeated defending champion Alexander Zverev 6–3, 6–1. while on the women's side, Ons Jabeur defeated Jessica Pegula in the final 7-5, 0-6, 6-2.
Alexander Zverev won the men's singles title, while Aryna Sabalenka Won the women's singles title in the 2021 Madrid Open.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was canceled in 2020 and replaced by a virtual game competition with 16 men and women participating.
