The first competition was held on the ATP and WTA circuits from January 2nd to 8th, and the second event was held from January 9th to January 15th next week. However in 2024, the ATP and WTA Adelaide International just one event will take place from 8 Jan to 13 Jan 2024.

The Adelaide International in 2024 will be the WTA 500 Women's Tour event and the Men's Tour ATP 250 event.

Gael Monfils leads the men's singles as the number one seed, and Karen Khachanov has also joined him. Women's number one player Ash Barty will join Aryna Sabalenka in the WTA match in Adelaide.

Who won at the 2021 ATP & WTA Adelaide International?

Due to the global pandemic, Adelaide did not host competitions in 2021, so all events were transferred to Melbourne.

Third seed Andrey Rublev won the 2020 Adelaide International Men's Singles draw and defeated South African Lloyd Harris in the final. Ash Barty won the women's singles trophy by defeating Dayana Yastremska in the final.

The 2020 Adelaide International is its first-ever event, but this event must be quickly added to replace the ATP Brisbane and Sydney International and the WTA Sydney International held last year.

One of the reasons for the change was the introduction of a new event called the ATP Cup and the cancellation of the Hopman Cup.
