The ATP Santiago Open is a men’s tennis event called as the Movistar Chile Open. It is part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series played on outdoor red clay courts in Santiago. The winner of this tournament received a total of 250 ranking points. Every season it is the last competition on the Latin American circuit. After a six-year gap, the event returned to the ATP Tour in 2020. It was one of the last competitions held before the tour was suspended due to the pandemic. Previously, it played in 2012 and 2014 at Vina del Mar. Played in Santiago for two years from 2010-11, from 2001-09 in Vina del Mar, and again played in Santiago from 1993 to 2000.
This competition has won many big players such as Gustavo Kuerten and Guillermo Coria. Fabio Fognini won the title in 2014.
The Chile Open (Santiago Open) will run from 26 February until 3 March 2024 and will take place in Santiago, Chile. Nicolás Jarry defeated Tomás Martín Etcheverry in the 2023 men's singles final, taking three sets to win 6-7, 7-6, and 6-2.
Pedro Martínez defeated Sebastian Baez in the 2022 Chile Open singles final with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Cristian Garin won the Santiago Open (Chile Open) title in 2021.
The Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild won the 2020 Chile Open title, his first-ever ATP tournament victory. In the 2020 Final, he defeated Casper Ruud and won the title with a score of 7–5, 4–6, 6–3.
